Welcome to The Pickin' Chicks website!

**  The Pickin' Chicks have been accepted into both the Single Mic and the Youth in Bluegrass Competitions held at Silver Dollar City this year!  Come cheer us on and hear lots of other great bands!  The Chicks will be playing there three weekends in a row:  May 19-20 (Single Mic Competition), May 26-27 (KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Competition), and June 2-3 (House of BBQ - four shows a day).

The Pickin' Chicks are a group of girls that play bluegrass and gospel music.  From three different families in Illinois, these girls came together to form their own band.  They are known for their tight vocal harmonies and equally good instrumental skills.

The Pickin' Chicks perform at festivals, carnivals, homecomings, Silver Dollar City, nursing homes, private parties, and other events.
